Posted: 04 Dec 2008 12:52 PM CST One of Holland’s great cartoon’s, Gummbah has just translated into a mini knitwear collection which borrows fragment slogans from the latest book of Gummbah called “Meanwhile Between the Two Eternities of Darkness”, which was release in October of of this year. I really like these sweaters, they have a great sense of quirkiness which remind me a lot of the King of this style Castelbajac. -via Neo 2 Related posts:

Posted: 04 Dec 2008 12:08 PM CST The architects at Supersudaka have taken a unique approach to architecture with their contemporary design for Kiltro House in Talca, Chile. They're motto is "We don't want to change the world with architecture, we want to change architecture." With that said, Kiltro House is an unconventional concept for cool, contemporary living. During the design and construction process, "Everything was in constant change: the program, the surface, building permits, the contractors, even the view! The modus operandi is rather based on mistakes than certainties," according to the architects. "The result: a mix, a bastardized design, a fusion, like a crossbreed dog, in Chilean: a Kiltro." The home's modern metal frame comes wrapped in a warm wood and glass facade, complementing its surroundings and embracing the spectacular view. The avant-garde roofline features a flat top to accommodate the rooftop patio. Supported by stilts, the home's design allows it to sit comfortably on the steep slope of the Chilean Central Valley.

Posted: 03 Dec 2008 05:12 PM CST Rumour has it that Anna Wintour is concidering retirement! According to the New York Post her contract is about to expire and “she’s so tired out and she feels she’s done it all and had enough”, says a source to the Post. Not only has she run Vogue US for twenty years, but she additionally oversees Teen Vogue, Fashion Rocks and Men’s Vogue, which just recently got cut down to only two issues a year due to budget cuts at Condé Nast. This might be why the rumours of Anna Wintour leaving is flourishing on the internet or maybe there’s more to it? I honestly don’t know what to believe. I certainly don’t believe that she’s is the kind of woman to leave her masterpiece without it being perfectly done. I think she’s the type who’d want to leave on top of her career. I just can’t picture Fashion Week without Anna Wintour in front row with her characteristic sunglasses places on her nose. It all seems too strange to me, but then again, change isn’t necessarily a bad thing, is it? However, if it’s true, it would definitely cause a commotion within the world of fashion and there will be some major questions to be answered. Who would replace her? What would she do without Vogue? And, will anyone ever exceed the expectations there is to being the next Anna Wintour? Related posts:
