Posted: 02 Dec 2008 08:43 PM CST Autoblog has just-released official images of Porsche’s highly anticipated Panamera, the marque’s first four-door car (not counting the Cayenne SUV). Production is slated to start next spring for a summer on-sale date, and the car is expected to be priced at around $175,000. Power for the Panamera will come from a range of V6 and V8 engines that will likely mirror the Cayenne lineup. The engines will run from a paltry 300 horsepower up to the 500-hp unit from the Cayenne Turbo. The Panamera will be available in several models with the Panamera Turbo at the top, the exact specifications have yet to be announced. At some point, probably sometime later in 2010-11, a hybrid variant will also debut. No related posts. |
Posted: 02 Dec 2008 06:40 PM CST I’m going absolutely gaga over this news! “To celebrate Barbie’s 50 year anniversary Assouline just released a $500, 128-page tome chronicling the iconic doll's glamorous history, called Barbie, by Yona Zeldis McDonough.” The Barbie Fashion Book is a larger than life Barbie format with actually photos tacked onto the pages so you can remove them and frame them if you wish. “More than a dozen designers have outfitted her since she first hit shelves in 1959, including Givenchy, Versace, Vera Wang, Donna Karan, and Zac Posen.” - via The Cut Related posts:

Posted: 02 Dec 2008 01:45 PM CST For next years 70th anniversary of 'The Wizard of Oz', Hong Kong shoe boutique On Pedder has partnered with Warner Bros to commission the most trendy fashion designers to create their own interpretation of the famous red shoes for a modern Dorothy. Including Bruno Frisoni, Alexander McQueen, Erickson Beamon, Giuseppe Zanotti, Pierre Hardy, Marni’s hi-tech heels (that play ‘Somewhere over the Rainbow’ when plugged in) and Stella McCartney’s strapped sandals or even Azzedine Alaia’s sparkly ballet pumps, the creations are a true homage to the legendary film. The shoes were unveiled at the On Pedder flagship store on 21 November. At the end of the exhibition, the shoes – including a replica of the original pair worn by Judy Garland in the film – will be sold off in a silent auction and the proceeds donated to charity.
