Deconstructive Design by Yang Li Posted: 30 Apr 2009 11:50 AM PDT Yang Li is an ambitious young designer we featured last year (see review here), currently in his last year at Central Saint Martins. I was pleasantly surprised, when I checked out his website, to discover how well it was designed and executed. The home page shown above is designed with conceptual logos that link into little design project books created by Li. There is some really cool stuff in there and tons of beautiful illustrations. From the butterfly book I choose to share with you the deconstruction of t-shirts concepts in which he shows you what you will need to create the t-shirts photographed. No time for getting bored, grab a pair of scissors and all the tees you can find at home, and get started! |

She is inspired by models and friend and like to draw faces expressions with her aquarelle and ink pens

Posted: 30 Apr 2009 09:49 AM PDT Looks like an other big Trend is coming our way: Its called the Pattern Mix: a mix of colors and pattern ( especially African ones) all wear together. So how do we do it? Simple. You mix different colors , patterns and fabrics. Consider wearing plaid or animal print with stripes, floral prints with stripes, polka dots or animal prints, and any of fall's random patterns with animal prints or floral prints, as well. Its kind of creating a look of Gypsy-Chic. I Like it ! Those two editorial is showing it pretty well: Other Pattern Mix : |
