The beautiful Louis Vuitton Journeys ad campaign To mark the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11s landing on the moon, Louis Vuitton is taking viewers on a Journey Beyond. Its a journey unlike any other with Sally Ride, the first woman in the Space, Buzz Aldrin, Apollo 11, first steps on the moon in 1969 and Jim Lovell, Apollo 13 Commander - Shot by Annie Lebovitz (of course) - Watch the video preview below

| Posted: 04 Jun 2009 09:46 AM PDT Au Revoire Simone: Take Me as I Am Au Revoire are a keyboard band consisting of three girls from Brooklyn, New York. I became a fan of theirs a few years ago after hearing their first album, “The Bird of Music”. These girls know how to rock out with the simple melodies of their one favorite instrument: the keyboard, that is. Their second album, “Still Night, Still Light”, is a real testament to their ability to make greatness out of simplicity. Jumping from dance tunes to lullabies, they have a sweetness that shows up in every track. I recently saw them at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Au Revoire Simone were happy to perform back home, and they put on an amazing show. The song ‘Take Me as I Am’ is the sweetest love song Ive heard in a long while. The Gemma Slack AW 09/10 Collection inspires from so many different cultures, time periods and concepts but somehow they all come together seamlessly on this one platform. For her second collection, Gemma Slack channels Contemporary Armor, using unfinished leather and woven together hardware unconventional for the world of fashion. Her 2 year apprenticeship with Gareth Pugh has without a doubt left a carbon footprint on her very distinct style. Each piece within in this collection is a reflection of her story. The print she created for this collection is her idea of “digital smoke, reminiscent of burning church thuribles.” The stark sensibility of the collection is beautifully portrayed by photographer Brooke Nipar in these images.

| Mercedes-Benz Folding PushBike Posted: 04 Jun 2009 08:47 AM PDT Mercedes-Benz is well known for their luxurious cars, but not for bicycles. Well not anymore. Apparently the Germans would like to tackle a whole new niche with their latest collection of folding pushbikes. There are two folding options - fully folded which is a very small package, while the "shuttle" position allows the bike to be pushed and steered making it ideal for easy carriage using public transport. This folding option allows you to take your bike wherever you go - While mostly intended for the style-conscious with a large bank account, the exquisite bike features an aluminum frame, has a suspension travel of 40 mm at both front and rear, a Shimano 8-speed gear and disc brakes that are supposed to keep you safe. Its a cool bike but a little expensive for my taste, for EUR1700, I’d rather buy a scooter !
