Posted: 26 Feb 2009 11:15 AM PST I just found the most beautiful search engine that makes Google look like a VHS Player. Check out SearchMe.com it looks just like Bridge for Mac (a program that sorts your files visually). This ultra-sexy approach to searching makes it easy to preview pages. You can also select through various media on the left-hand side like images, video, music and news. Related posts:

Posted: 26 Feb 2009 10:15 AM PST Two Door Cinema Club : Something Good Can Work This is pretty precious electropop from Two Door Cinema Club a brand new band out of the UK. Peppy guitars and uplifting shout-alongs back up the singer’s attempts to encourage his girlfriend to work on their relationship. It makes you wonder why he’s making such an effort for a girl who always gets what she wants anyways. Maybe she doesn’t believe that “something good” can come out of it; or perhaps what she wants is to be miserable. No matter. The song is catchy as hell and I’m sure the band is bound for big things this year. Related posts:

The Teddy Look by Aramand Basi - AW 09 Posted: 26 Feb 2009 09:55 AM PST Spanish brand Armand Basi, seems to have taken quite a strong inspiration from London’s Teddy Boy look of the 80’s in the creation of the womens aw 09 collection. It is hard to go wrong using the silhouette of the Perfecto Jacket, one of the most timeless pieces in fashion. The collection definitely has a rough/ bad ass edge to it. It has London street fury written all over it. Related posts:

Posted: 25 Feb 2009 05:52 PM PST The art collection of the C.I.A., cryogenic freezing units, braille editions of premier men’s mag Playboy and the only legal marijuana crop in America. These are but some of the images found within Taryn Simon’s investigative and particularly interesting portfolio. Plunging into her work like a dead weight in a deep ocean, Simon manages to colour in between the lines created by countless inquistive conversations and considerations. Her work currently hangs on the walls of a few galleries around the globe, most notably at The Photographers Gallery in London until April 12, as a contender for the The Deutsche Börse Photography Prize, the Met in NY until March 22 as part of Reality Check: Truth and Illusion in Contemporary Photography and as of tomorrow, the OK Center for Contemporary Art (Linsz, Austria) till April 26th as part of the third Bienalle Cuvée.
